The Big Fools at State push on

The Big Fools at State push on

President Biden has earned a dubious distinction in foreign policy unmatched by his 45 predecessors. His State Dept., tasked with sensible diplomacy to keep the peace, has been at the forefront of promoting endless confrontation with 3 nuclear powers.
State is not talking diplomacy with North Korea, which it refuses to engage with over its nuclear program. Instead, State promotes endless sanctions, beefing up its 28,000 troop garrison in South Korea, and provocative war games there in a futile attempt to intimidate North Korea. The response from North Korea is more atomic weapons and more long range missiles to ward off endless, senseless US belligerence. Nuclear confrontation with North Korea cannot be ruled out. But the Big Fools at State push on.
State is not talking diplomacy with China, which it refuses to engage with over Taiwan. Instead, State has abandoned the One China Policy which has keep confrontation with China on the back burner for 7 decades. The response from China has been to respond in kind, threatening security and commerce with Taiwan with their own provocative actions. Though US policy with China has been an abysmal failure which may turn into nuclear confrontation, the Big Fools at State push on.
State is not talking to Russia about the eastward expansion of NATO and the Kyiv government destroying fellow Ukrainians in Donbas to erase their Russian culture. Back in 2014, Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland went to Kyiv to encourage Ukrainian coup plotters into overthrowing President Yanukovych, who dared partner economically with Russia. She then helped orchestrate who should lead the new US friendly Ukraine government to cement Ukraine into the US sphere of European influence. That’s not diplomacy. That is war mongering.
Was Nuland ostracized and punished for promoting senseless war instead of peaceful diplomacy? Oh contraire, Biden recently appointed her No. 2 leader at State.
After 7 years of Kyiv’s war against Donbas Ukrainians, and fervent calls for Ukraine to join totally unnecessary NATO, Biden Secretary of State Tony Blinken rebuffed all Russian efforts to negotiate settlement of both issues.
In February, 2022, as Kyiv rained missiles down on Donbas and massed thousands of troops to finish them off, Blinken expressed shock, shock that Russia would respond to protect Russian security interests.
Nineteen months into a catastrophic war ending or degrading life for millions of Ukrainians and destroying their country, with a US Russian nuclear confrontation ever growing, the Big Fools at State push on.
