Isn’t Biden guilty of his 2 exceptions to commuting federal death penalty?
President Biden did a good thing in his last month as president. He commuted the death penalty to life imprisonment for 34 of 37 federal death row inmates.
Why not the other 3? Biden says death OK for those facing death due to terrorism or hate filled mass murder. He doesn’t believe that a life sentence for such criminally bent folks is a sufficient deterrent
Is Biden so morally diminished he fails to realize that both of those exceptions apply to him?
He is clearly a terrorist to the remaining 2,200,000 Palestinians that his 50,000 tons of bombs obliterating Gaza’s 139 square miles haven’t yet killed. That leaves around 100,000 dead, many thousands of whom are d beyond recognition under the rubble Biden has enabled. While Benjamin Netanyahu, he man firing Biden’s bombs from Biden’s planes has rightly been declared a war criminal by the International Criminal Court, Biden has skated from his connection to terrorism and mass murder.
The state should never sanction death for any human regardless how heinous the crime. It makes the state no better than an individual murderer. Nor should the state allow any leader to participate in state sponsored terrorism and mass murder under the guise of protecting the Homeland or supporting distant nations practicing genocide.
When the official US obituary of President Biden is written, it will not mention his most infamous acts, engaging in terrorism and mass murder in Gaza. But even Joe Biden allows that such people can be put to death by the state, an ironic twist on his descent into infamy.
