WHOSE ELECTION IS IT?

A presidential election that has been in the news has a lot of folks suspicious of its validity.

The declared winner certainly received less votes than the apparent winner.

Many thousands of persons who supported the apparent winner were disenfranchised by dubious means.

A major governmental agency staffed with appointees connected to the declared winner made a tortuous legal decision which allowed the election to go against the apparent winner.

Iran's presidential election of this past weekend, you ask?

No, the US presidential election of 2000.

A country ruled for eight years by hanging chads should refrain from criticizing Iran for an assumed illegitimate election of the person our government opposes.
