Where's the value?

The Daily Herald didn't score any points in good journalism publishing 'No shame; just money' by 93 year old Dorothy Caffrey Wednesday. The letter simply parrots ideologues on Fox News and Breitbart Media who demonize progressive political thought as being controlled by a relatively obscure progressive billionaire who donates millions to worthwhile causes. There was not a single fact or coherent, reasoned thought worthy of publication. Those two concepts should at least be hinted at in any letter deemed publishable.  The only reason for publication that makes sense is the letter serves the Herald's desire to placate its legion of readers who share Caffrey's imaginary concept of American political life.

No shame; just money

What has happened to our country? Is George Soros and his money running our country with his liberal friends? President Trump is doing the best job considering the mess he inherited from the previous administration. We should give Mr. Trump our full support, instead of this horrible, sickening, vulgar criticism.

Liberals, you are a disgrace to our country. I am a proud American — 93 years old; my husband fought for this country. You, Mr. Soros, should be ashamed; but then, I guess you don’t have any shame — just money — how sick.
