No, not the 1957 Ayn Rand novel about an apocalyptic vision of the last stages of conflict between two classes of humanity—the looters and the non-looters. This refers to infectious disease pseudoscientist Scott Atlas whom Trump called on to be his medical expert quack to push herd immunity and call for Michiganders to ‘rise up’ against Michigan covid restrictions. Atlas shrugged and said ‘I can do that’. There is a tie back to the long ago ultra-libertarian novel. Scott Atlas clearly is on the side of the looters….stealing the life from thousands and thousands of Americans whose lives he’s ostensibly employed to protect.
