U.S. should end all aid to Saudi Arabia, Israel By the simple act of cutting off all aid to Saudi Arabia and Israel, the U.S. could alleviate two of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. In Yemen, hundreds of thousands lay dead and millions face starvation from the six yearlong Saudi war there involving relentless bombing and a cruel blockade of life essential food and medicine. That catastrophic war could never have started, much less continued for six years, without near total U.S. support. That U.S. support also fuels Israel’s relentless 73 year long Apartheid, ethnic cleansing and dehumanization of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Horrific Israeli bombing of innocent women and children follow Palestinian defense of their inherent right to worship in their religious shrines and simply live in their homes. Ending U.S. support, financial and moral, might force Israel to address the need to end its eight decades of Apartheid which has displaced one and a quarter million Palestinians, added to every day with their inhumane land and home appropriations. The U.S., borne in revolution to establish democracy and self-determination, has for the beleaguered of the world, become the enabler of death, destruction and domination.
