Biden goes head to head with head Saudi headchopper MbS

President Biden has embarked on his most shameful presidential trip; indeed one of the most shameful in presidential history.
He’s going to, among other things, beg Saudi ruler Mohammed bin Salman, (MbS), for more oil to offset soaring gas prices that threaten a November rout of Democrats in the mid-terms November 8.
During his 2020 campaign, Bided promised to reverse Trump’s embrace of MbS who had ordered a chop shop job on US resident journalist Jamal Kashoggi in 2018 simply because he criticized the Saudi government. Biden called MbS a ‘pariah’ and took office shunning him like the monster he is.
But when Biden launched his proxy war against Russia over their invasion of Ukraine, he pivoted to embrace the murderous ruler of the 7th most repressive nation on earth
Biden has near totally boxed himself into high gas prices thru the November election and likely into the ’24 presidential election with a perfect storm of disastrous foreign policies.
Even before cutting off Russian oil in a futile attempt to end their Ukraine invasion, Biden stupidly maintained long standing oil embargoes against big producers Venezuela and Iran, who represent no threat to the US whatsoever. Add Russia to the embargo and it’s no wonder the gas spigot is down to a drip for the self-destructive US.
But all of Biden’s groveling before world headchopper No. 1 won’t do much good, The Saudis are making tons of dough from rising oil prices. Increasing production will just lower the price per barrel. Besides, why would MbS do anything to help Biden who slimed him as a pariah during the campaign.
Meanwhile, Russia is selling oceans of oil to India, China and other nations who want nothing to do with America’s disastrous ‘sanction everybody’ foreign policy.
By groveling before MbS, Biden is putting his head on the chopping block of shame. Fortunately for him it’s just a figurative one.

Could Biden’s Ukraine war policy spell November Democratic disaster?

US Ukraine war policy is disastrous on several levels.
Refusing to promote negotiations to end the war while pumping in over $50 billion in weaponry to prolong the war, could still lead to a nuclear dust up between US and Russia.
While that is not certain, the thousands of needless Ukrainian deaths and destruction of their now failed nation, enabled in part from US support, certainly are.
Our support also spurs worldwide economic damage being inflicted on the world’s poor from US economic sanctions against Russia that have failed spectacularly. Rising fuel and food prices are expanding worldwide poverty by the millions, while Russia finds a work around trading with most of the world that rejects US self-destructive sanctions. Outside of NATO and NATO wannabe members, Russia and its partners are rejecting the almighty dollar to trade in rubles, rupees and yuan.
In the US, gas over $5/gallon to fuel our 276 million gas guzzlers is foremost in voters’ minds, not fueling the lost war in Ukraine, regardless of how much sympathy occurred when Russia invaded, after years of US, NATO and Ukraine provocations. When Biden was asked how long US support for Ukraine would continue in spite of rising energy costs, he said “As long as it takes”.
Biden is risking the entire progressive agenda come November 3 by ignoring the Homeland to fight a proxy war against Russia only supported by rapacious US weapons makers and our delusional national security establishment.
Come to think of it, that ‘As longs as it takes’ may just be 120 days away till the November 8, election, less time than the Russian Ukraine war we’ve now prolonged for 138 days.
