US murders 13 in Somalia…to save Americans in the Homeland

 

Ask a hundred folks on the street what al-Shabaab is, and most likely answer might be: ‘A delicacy served in a Mediterranean rest.’

 

But that delicacy was not what the US killed 13 over in Somalia Saturday.

 

Our missile strike was designed to erase those 13 folks from al-Shabaab, a local military group fighting the US backed Somalia government.

 

The irony is that those 13 former imagined US enemies came from an organization inspired by US interference in Somalian politics 17 years ago. In 2006 the US supported an Ethiopian invasion of Somalia to oust Islamic Courts Union, a coalition that previously ousted US CIA backed warlords there. CIA no like. One offshoot of that deranged interference was creation of al-Shabaab to re-oust the American backed invaders.

 

In 2012, al-Shabaab made a big mistake…pledging allegiance to another US inspired group, al-Qaeda. That signed their death warrant from endless US drone dropped bombs.

The US military, weapons makers and war hawks in the White House and Congress have developed a brilliant business model to keep war profits and power flowing. Interfere incessantly worldwide to provoke an inevitable reaction from splinter groups. Then murder the folks involved in that pushback. If we don’t, they claim for instance, al-Shabaab will quickly travel 7,822 miles to DC and recreate 911.
